After almost 20 years of motorbiking, I decided it was time for an “upgrade”. When I was a teenager, my “poster car” was the Lotus Esprit HC Turbo” and I’ve been a fan of Lotus ever since! So, about 35 years later, I finally changed up from the motorbike to a stunning motor-sport green Lotus Elise (2012 model, with the smaller 1.6L Yamaha tuned Toyota Engine).
I took delivery in August 2019 and am now enjoying touring in Japan from the very low seated driving position of the Elise. If this is my mid-life crisis, long may it last!
